INSTRUCTORS' BIO
Mirela's love for yoga began a few years ago when she started practicing and learning about yoga while healing her lower back. After a couple of years of practicing yoga and discovering yoga's many benefits not only for the body but also for the mind and soul, Mirela decided to pursue her 200RYT with YogaFit. Her style is based on YogaFit teaching style and combines elements from Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga. Mirela has a full-time career which she loves but yoga is her hobby which she also loves and they both keep her balanced and content. Mirela began teaching yoga approximately 2 years ago and she dreamed ever since of bringing the art of yoga to the West Valley and helping others discover its many benefits for the mind, body and soul. Her dream of helping others became even more alive when she had the opportunity to open her own studio in Goodyear. She earned her BS in Justice Studies and a Master's Degree in Management and she is the founder and co-owner of Livingroom Yoga.
Patty began her yoga career 14 years ago due to back pain after the birth of her first child. Doing Yoga for the physical benefits, led her to a much deeper level spiritually and she realized the many other Yoga benefits, including being present in the moment when life off the mat is stressful. Yoga literally changed her life both physically and spiritually. As a full-time elementary teacher and coordinator of the gifted program for her school district, she decided to pursue a yoga teaching certificate. Patty enjoys bringing Yoga to her students through the understanding of poses and breath work.
Natascha’s love of yoga is rooted in her love of philosophy and dance. She has been dancing ballet all of her life and belly dancing since high school. She has a MA in Philosophy, is certified in massage therapy and has studied Herbalism and childbirth support techniques. After taking a break from work and study to have two beautiful boys, she wanted to study Indian Philosophy. The yoga program at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts was a fun and non-stressful way to learn. The gift of yoga was too good not to share so Natascha began teaching yoga classes in 2007. In addition to completing her basic yoga teacher certification, she has trained in restorative yoga, pre/postnatal yoga, kids yoga, and pranayama. Natascha views yoga as an opportunity to heal and strengthen not only the body, but all of oneself. Yoga has enriched all aspects of Natascha’s life, and she hopes to pass this enrichment along to her students.
Becci has had a deep passion for yoga for many years which lead her to find the love for teaching yoga and she is continuing her studies to add yoga therapy to her plan. Her instant connection to yoga stems from feeling a deep personal connection to the creativity that she can express through each practice. She thrives on creating a fun and comfortable environment where all levels and body types can come together to practice yoga or where she can go to the individual in a one on one setting. In the time that she has been practicing yoga she has seen tremendous change both physically and mentally with a strong body and mind where she accredits practicing yoga as definitely been key. She is excited to continue her journey, as she believes yoga is a life long adventure, and feels so blessed to have such amazing people to learn from every step of the way.
